Linda is a registered Psychologist with an interest in helping people create meaning and purpose in their lives. 

Qualifications

Linda holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree from the University of New South Wales. She is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulationi Agency (AHPRA) and has served on the board of Mental Health Carers (ARAFMI) NSW Inc.

Experience

Linda has experience within the public and NGO sector, including: Westmead Depression Clinic, Brookvale Community Mental Health Services, the University of New South Wales Child Behaviour Clinic and WayAhead (former Mental Health Association NSW). She is committed to using evidence-based treatments and draws from modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Informed Practice, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Psychotherapy and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT).

Approach

Linda’s approach is warm, supportive and empowering. She prefers to work with the patient as a complex individual with their own capacity to heal and overcome life’s challenges. Linda is committed to upholding the highest standards in ethical practice and enjoys tailoring practical strategies from evidence-based treatment modalities to help meet her patient’s specific needs and maximise their therapeutic experience.
